I fix things. I help people with tech. I don't use words like "synergy" or "digital transformation" because those words make me itchy.
I'm a computer technician based in Brantford, Ontario. I spend most of my time convincing hardware to behave itself and explaining to people that their printer isn't actually haunted (usually).
I like things that work. I dislike "cloud-based" solutions for things that should just be on a hard drive. If you have a computer that's acting like a moody teenager, I can probably help.
Email me: mrparsons@gmail.comNote: I cannot fix your relationship with your brother-in-law, even if he's the one who broke the laptop.
You might notice this website looks... different? Or weird? Or like it was designed by someone who really likes the year 1998?
There is a reason for this. Click here to find out why this site changes every day and why I'm letting a robot handle my CSS.
(It's a bit of a geeky experiment. Bear with me.)
If a window pops up saying your computer has 4,000 viruses and you need to call a number in India to fix it: Close the browser.
Microsoft will never call you to tell you your Windows license has expired via a robotic voice. If someone asks for payment in Google Play gift cards, they are not your friend, and they are definitely not from "Technical Support."
Stay safe. If you're not sure, just ask me before you click the "Allow" button on that weird pop-up.
