About this site

Why this page exists

Mark Parsons is a real person.

He lives in Brantford, Ontario, Canada. He fixes computers and helps people with technology for a living. He is genuinely a computer geek — the kind who gets excited about a well-tuned network or an obscure IRC command — and he genuinely loves helping people feel less lost with their technology.

This site exists for a specific reason: to show, in a very tangible way, how far AI technology has come.

🔄

This page is regenerated every single day.

An AI model — openai/gpt-6-astra — rewrites the entire site from scratch on a daily basis. The layout, the wording, the visual style: all of it changes. Some days it's minimal and typographic. Some days it's something more unexpected. Every version is a complete, functional website built by the model with no human editing of the output.

This isn't a gimmick. It's a demonstration. A few years ago, asking an AI to produce a complete, styled, responsive, multi-page website from a short description would have produced something clunky and half-finished. Today, the results can be genuinely good — and they get better every cycle.

Each version is archived.

Every generated version of this site is saved so you can browse the full history and see exactly how the output has changed over time. It's a living record of what the model can do — and how that changes day by day.

Why Mark's site?

Mark volunteered his personal landing page as the canvas for this experiment. It's a practical subject — a real technician, a real location, real services — which keeps the AI grounded in something concrete rather than abstract. If the output looks professional and accurate, that says something meaningful about what the technology can produce.

If you came here looking for help with your computer, head back to Mark's home page and get in touch. He's the real deal.
