~*~ MARK PARSONS ~*~
💬 About Mark (Who We All Call "Mark")
Hey there! I'm Mark Parsons, your local computer guy from beautiful Brantford, Ontario. I repair computers, fix laptops, wrestle with printers that have more attitude than a puck at the Air Canada Centre, and help people figure out technology so they can get back to actually enjoying their lives.
I've been messing with computers since the Commodore 64 days — that's a machine with 64K of RAM, a blue screen, and more character than every smartphone you've ever owned combined. If it booted with the iconic "READY." message, I was on it. I learned BASIC before I learned to drive a stick shift. I could write 8-bit assembly in my sleep (well, almost — I still need coffee. Lots of it.)
I turned 50 in 2025, which means I've spent more than half my life dealing with technology. Don't ask me to do the math — just trust me on this one. At this point, I've seen every operating system come and go, I've survived the Y2K scare (spoiler: nothing happened, and I still have the emergency canned beans), and I've fixed more computers than I've had hot dinners.
I'm not flashy. I'm not going to build you a website with a spinning 3D logo and three animated GIFs of flames. I'm going to fix your computer, charge you a fair price, and then politely tell you that you need to stop downloading that "free music" software that is DEFINITELY a virus.
🖤 A Fond Nod to the Commodore 64
10 PRINT "I STILL MISS YOU, C64" 20 PRINT "THOSE WERE THE DAYS" 30 PRINT "64K OF RAM AND A DREAM" 40 GOTO 10
The Commodore 64 was the gateway drug for millions of computer geeks across Canada and the world. Its SID chip produced music that could make you emotional. Its games — Jumpman, Spy Hunter, Boulder Dash — kept us out of trouble and off the streets (mostly). The beige plastic case, the chunky keyboard, the 1541 disk drive that took FOREVER to load anything... it was perfect.
I still have my C64 in a closet somewhere. It still boots. I still get chills when I hear that startup sound. Some things never change. 😍
🎉 Mark Turned 50 in 2025! 🎉
That's right — big 5-0! And yes, I now get excited about good lumbar support and a well-organized toolbox. At 50, I can officially say I'm "vintage." My back goes out more often than my social life. But hey, I'm still kicking, still fixing computers, and still arguing with people about how much RAM they actually need. (It's more than they think, by the way.)
💟 50 years young and still not over it. Sorry, not sorry. 💟

🎱 Hockey & Canadian Things 🎱
If you're from Ontario, you know hockey isn't just a sport — it's a way of life. It's what we do when it's minus 30 outside and the lake is frozen solid. I've been skating since I could walk, and I still argue about the 1993 Maple Leafs playoff run like it's going to change history.
Go Maple Leafs. (Don't @ me. Just go them.)
Also, if you need tech support and you're willing to discuss hockey as payment, we might have a deal. No? Okay. Tim Hortons works too. 🍽️
