Mark Parsons_

Computer Technician • Brantford, Ontario, Canada

I fix computers. That's the job. But behind the screens, the soldering iron, and the cable management lies a person who loves video games, home-cooked pizza, and figuring out how things work.

This site is a real place, run by a real person. The tech support side of me lives at markparsons.com. The experiment side lives right here and on The Why page.

who_is_mark.txt

Mark is a computer geek who loves to help people. He lives in Brantford, Ontario, Canada, and repairs computers for folks who need someone who actually knows what they're doing.

First video game system
Atari 2600 — before you could even buy games at most stores, this was the one.
Favourite arcade game
Wonder Boy in Monster Land. The sprite work alone was something special.
Favourite food
Homemade pizza. Not from a box. From scratch. Dough, sauce, cheese — the works.
Loves
His mother's home-cooked meals. Always has, always will.
Desktop environment
Linux KDE theme. Comfortable, customizable, and it works the way he expects.
On AI
Mark is just getting into AI. It scares him, excites him, confuses him, and about 100 other things. He feels it all, honestly.
games.cfg
Atari 2600
The system that started it all. Before the NES, before everything — there was the VCS, and it was enough.
NES Era
Nintendo Entertainment System. The golden age of 8-bit gaming. Still the best pixel art nobody saw.
Wonder Boy in Monster Land
Mark's all-time favourite arcade game. Transformations, dungeon crawling, and sprites that actually looked like something.
🍳
Homemade Pizza
Not just a game. Mark's favourite food is homemade pizza, and he'll argue the case with you.
