Linux first.
Always.

I've run Linux seriously for years — starting with Gentoo, where you compile everything from source and learn exactly what your system is doing. These days Ubuntu is my daily driver: stable, fast, and gets out of your way. I've also spent serious time with OS/2, IBM's underrated gem from the early PC era.

Windows? I'll fix it for clients. I won't run it myself.

Ubuntu

Current daily driver. Reliable, fast, community-backed. The right amount of opinionated.

// roots
Gentoo

Ran it for years. Compiling from source teaches you more than any tutorial ever will.

// underrated
OS/2

IBM's forgotten OS was genuinely great. Preemptive multitasking before Windows could dream of it.

Data Recovery

Lost files, failed drives — I'll do everything possible to get them back.

Yes, I play games.
Doggos mandatory.

When I'm not fixing machines, I'm playing on them. My gaming usernames have always been dog-themed — it started as a joke and became a tradition. If you spot an ILoveDoggos in a lobby, say hi.

My nephews got me into Roblox and Minecraft. Now I play both more than I care to admit. There is no shame in this.

Snooker & darts.
Two GOATs.

Two precision sports that reward patience, calculation, and nerve. Not a coincidence that I love both. If it involves a cue or a tungsten barrel and extreme focus, I'm watching.

Stephen Hendry

Seven World Championships. The benchmark every generation of players measures themselves against. Ice-cold under pressure.

// darts
Phil Taylor

16 World titles. The Power. If you want to argue this one, you're wrong, and I have the statistics to prove it.
