My ServicesHello. I'm Mark Parsons. I fix computers and help people understand them. Mostly, the computers get unfixed by the user later, but for a brief, shining moment, they work. And that's a beautiful thing.
Surely, you can't be serious about fixing my 15-year-old laptop? I am serious. And don't call me Shirley. A Bit About MeI've been tinkering with electronics since I was a kid. Some might call it a hobby, others an obsession. I prefer to think of it as a long-term, committed relationship with silicon. By nature, I'm a bit shy and not one for big crowds or flashy presentations. I just like the quiet satisfaction of a problem solved. My work is deeply influenced by my father. He had Multiple Sclerosis, and I saw firsthand how frustrating technology could be when it wasn't designed with patience and empathy. It taught me that helping someone set up their email or video call their family is about more than just wires and software; it's about connection. I try to bring that warmth and dignity to every repair and every person I help. Why This Page ExistsDoes this page look like a time capsule from 1995, possibly designed by a well-meaning but confused movie character's IT guy? Yes. There's a reason for that, and it's not just my enduring love for the early web. This entire website is part of an experiment. Click here to learn what this is all about. The explanation might surprise you. Or it might not. There's only one way to find out. |
