Mark Parsons - Computer Technician

Welcome to my personal landing page! I'm Mark Parsons, a computer technician with years of experience repairing computers and helping people with technology. I'm based in Brantford, Ontario, Canada, and I'm passionate about all things tech.

I'm a long-time advocate for open source software. I ran Linux and OS/2 extensively and have a low opinion of Windows.

I've been active on EFNet IRC almost daily since 1995. You can often find me helping people there.

I turned 50 years old in 2025.

I love dogs and am an animal person in general.

Fun fact: I've never been on an airplane!

I still own my original 3dfx Voodoo 1 graphics card – the card that launched consumer 3D gaming!
